it depends on where you get your nails done. there is a chemical that some discount salons use called methyl methacrylate (mma) that can cause serious nail and health problems. your best bet is to go to a well respected nail technician in your area. if you are suspicious about what kind of product they use just ask and they should be more than happy to show you. im a nail technician and i have no problem answering any questions my clients may have.Are artificial nails bad for health?
