How do I remove these artificial salon nails from my fingers?

Do not, under any circumstances, rip them off, or let someone else rip them off for you.

Okay, that said, on to my answer. The absolute best way to get them off is to go back to the salon and have them professionally removed. And someone who knows what they're doing will not rip them off either (I won't get in to how many times I've seen chop shops ripping these nails off). If you don't wish to do that, then your alternatives are limited.

If your nails are acrylic (and you'll know by thinking back to when you had them put on. If the technician used a liquid and a powder, then you have acrylic), you can remove them by soaking your nails in acetone. Use an orangewood stick to scrape off the acrylic as it softens. This usually takes about 45 minutes to an hour per hand.

If your nails are gel (and gel is just that - a gel that is hardened under a UV light), then they are impervious to acetone. The only way to remove them is to have them filed off. It will take you FOREVER to do it by hand, so going back to the salon is the best option.

Edit: You do have one more option: letting them grow off. It looks nasty as the nail grows out, but you risk no damage to your natural nail by doing this. What you need to do is file them down as they're growing out, and at some point, the nail will become too heavy to stay on and it will fall off, leaving the end of your natural nail slightly damaged at worse. How do I remove these artificial salon nails from my fingers?
omg i have done this in like a year but you pull the side up a little, and there should be a little space, then you take la nail clipper that has that thing in it that you pull out to file and clean the dirt out of your nails(idk if u know what im talking about), but uyou use that and push it between your nail and the fake nail. it hurts, but thats how i used to do it untill i just decided too grow my nails out.How do I remove these artificial salon nails from my fingers?
please do not rip those nails off. i am a licensed nail technician and i am telling u the best way 2 remove acrylic nails is 2 soak them in acetone. clip them down and get a glass bowl fill with pure acetone put a towel over your hands and let them soak. u have to be patient because it usually takes 45 minutes for them 2 soak completely off. get an orangewood stick and about every 5-10 minutes scrape off the the acrylic that has softened and continue 2 soak this is the safest way to remove them yourself. if u dont want 2 be bothered then get a professional 2 remove them 4 u
Get 100% pure acetone and some orange sticks, both available at Sally's or Wal-Mart. Soak in the acetone and about every 10 minutes or so use the orange sticks to gently scrap off the softened acrylic material. Repeat as necessary. The skin will turn white and get dry but good hand lotion will take care of that. My friend who is a nail tech heats her acetone in the microwave for about 15 seconds before letting her clients soak. Not sure if it helps or if it is to just make it warm.
When I'm ready to take mine off, I usually clip them down, and rip'em off. It hurts like h e l l. But that's what I do.

Or you can soak your nails in nail polish remover, and eventually they'll disintegrate.

Another alternative is to go back to the salon, and have them remove them, it'll cost you though.
Soak you hands in acetone. This is used to remove acrylic.
