Anybody know anything about artificial nails?

I've had artificial nails for about 3 months now. I've broken a couple before but this last one that I broke really hurt. The real nail underneath broke partially down. It's hard to explain, It's like it split but not all the way across. I'm waiting until tomorrow so I can ask the nail tech if he can fix it. Does anyone know if he'll be able too? With the split on the nail bed I'm not so sure. I thought your nails had to be in good shape with no splits.Anybody know anything about artificial nails?
YOU DON'T WANT TO PUT ANOTHER ARTIFICIAL NAIL ON IF YOUR NAIL HAS BROKEN ALL THE WAY DOWN. LET IT GROW AND HEAL BEFORE YOU PUT ANOTHER NAIL ON IT. BELIEVE ME I'VE DONE IT BEFORE AND YOU HAVE TO TAKE IT FROM A PRO AND ANOTHER THING, DON'T LEAVE THOSE NAILS ON FOR TOO LONG YOU HAVE TO LET YOUR NAILS BREATHEAnybody know anything about artificial nails?

nails done't breathe. They are dead like hair. It's actually best to covor a rip in the natural nail when you have nail enhancements. It's covored then from getting infected and will help it heal. It actually would be less painful also.

im sure theyll be able to do something for you i mean theyre professionals
yes that nail can be fixed. most likely they'll put acrylic over the break, replace the tip. and you'll be good to go.
artificial nails are not good for your nails.........they can cause you to get a fungus in your real nails thats really hard to get rid of
With everything I've heard about getting those things, I'm glad I never did.
if you really want to put artificial nails on with your nail split like that they'll probally be able to do something but i would suggest even if they can wait until your nail has grown back and is not split before getting artificial nails done.....Good luck!
