Do you like artificial nails? How do you put them on? What are some pro's and con's on getting artificial nails?Do you like artificial nails?
I love artificial nails, if well maintained.
When I was younger, I used the ';glue on nails'; from the drugstore. It took me months to perfect them. It takes awhile to learn how much to file them so they fit your nails. Since high school, I started getting them done at the salon.
Pros--
-They make your hand/fingers look clean and polished.
-Your fingers look much longer and delicate.
-You don't have to wait to grow out your nails.
-For some, it stops them from biting their nails.
-They're a little more sturdy than some natural nails [varies].
[%26amp; of course, keep in mind the pros are ONLY if they are well maintained]
Cons--
-It can get expensive. Press-on's don't last long and acrylics/gel require fills every couple of weeks.
-They can look really bad and messy if not cared for.
-Make your nails ';temporarily'; weak until they grow out.
-Can break easily and look terrible.
-If using press-ons you have to [or should] carry nail glue to fix just in case.
How to put them on--[I'm assuming you want to buy press-on's]
-First, prep your nails, make sure they're clean.
-Next, size the artificial nails to your natural nails. This may require you to do some filing on the bottom. Some nails will be much too large or too small for your nail and may cause some discomfort for you if not filed down. This does take some time to master. Keep in mind, you don't HAVE to do this step, but in my opinion, they look MUCH better if you do.
-Next, take the nail glue [most kits come with it, but if not just buy one, they should be in the same section you bought the nails] and put enough glue for the artificial nail to adhere to your natural nail. Don't put a lot as it will all ';squish'; out of the sides anyways, but enough to cover the entire nail. In my experience, more has always been better though. Eventually the nail glue will come off your skin should it come out from under the nail.
-If some glue has dried to your skin, now is the time to remove it. I just wash my hand and it usually flakes so I can just scrape it off.
-And now you're DONE!

I think it's all right to put artificial nails on even though personally I have never done so. But, if you really want to then you have to make sure to keep them really clean. Also, artificial nails are sometimes pretty expensive depending on the type you get. Usually the nails come with nail glue. All you have to do is put a drop of it on your nail and stick the fake nail on and it'll be stuck. The pro of having artificial nails are that they look pretty wicked. But, then again you have to really take care of them and watch out for chips and stuff like that. You can buy artificial nails from any drugstore, pharmacy, department store, etc. Also you have to make sure that you get a colour of nails that really will look good with no matter whatever you wear.
Do you like artificial nails? If they look natural.

What are some pro's and con's on getting artificial nails? Pros would be they are beautiful and easy to take care of. They last a long time. Cons would be wearing them constantly could poison you because of the glue. And your natural nails look bad after you take them off. You could get nail fungus.
I like the way they look. I dont enjoy my natural nails because they always break so I can't grow them out. I go to a salon/spa to have them done. The downside is that it can be expensive and you run the risk of them not doing a good job. Also if you ever decide to remove them your natural nail is damaged and takes a while to get back to their normal state. Ultimately is if you like them or not. Good Luck!
Yes.
I don't know I'm a guy.
Pros:
They look hot (if well maintained).
Easier and Faster than growing your real nails that long.
Cons:
They look **** (if not well maintained).
I suppose it would make it harder to do stuff.
You piss everyone in an office off with the click clack **** on the keyboard.
