Artificial nails: Do you prefer glue or press-on?

I have very thin nails, so I like to get fake nails, just those ones you can do yourself that you can get at drugstores. I have only ever used the ones with the glue, but I find it comes off after about a day or two, and it leaves a little mark if I don't get the glue perfect. And I also don't like that it ruins my nails when I take them off. I have never tried press-on, but doesn't it only last about a day or two?

the press on ones are more for a one day event like going to dinner etc, and you cant get them wet, or they will come off, maybe you should try getting nail polish that will help strengthen your nails, then after a while use the glue kind, or get them done at the nail salon, :)Artificial nails: Do you prefer glue or press-on?
When done right and treated carefully, the glue will usually hold on longer than the press on. Of course, glue hurts worse when it comes off, but it will be much harder to get it off. For example, you get the nail stuck on the corner of a table, or something similar, when you pull up, a glue nail will stay on, however a press on will fall off. Press on nails are easier to apply and less harsh on your nails. It is all about your preference.

another idea is. you can get these kits, where you do em your self, kinda like they do them at professional nail places. They work really well and last a few weeks.
