Hey there, I'm a nail tech so I would know this. So check it out-- go to ace hardware and buy acetone extra strength. Pour into glass bowls (2) and soak. Reason 4 glass is cause it will eat away at plastic. Hence the reason we do this in a salon. perfectly healthy and safe. soak for a good 15-20 min. they should peel off if they are acrylic! Hope i could help. How do you take off artificial nails?
yank them really hard...lolHow do you take off artificial nails?
nail polish remover
OUCH!!!!
If your doing it at home, the best, cheapest way is with nail polish remover that has acetone. The drug stores sell a much better solution in the nail polish section.
Soak them in nail polish remover with acetone
There's not really an easy way. I've heard to soak them in acetone nail polish remover but it didn't work for me. It pretty much hurts no matter what
get some pure acetone and soak your hands in them.
Soak them in acetone. They'll peel off.
pull them back until they SNAP!!
this might take a while for you to do. buy 100% pure acetone polish remover and soak 1 hand at a time. this will soften them up. peel them off as best you can. you may need something to pry them off. the edge of nail clippers work pretty well. make sure you have a fine grit nail file (soft kind) and buff them after to get rid of bumps and old glue . moisturize the tar out of your nails after. good luck. I do it about once a year and dread the crap out of it.
take a chainsaw and cut them off or take a knife and start peeling them off. my gf did it.
Soaking them in nail polish remover can loosen them a bit, but your best bet is to go to a salon so that you don't peel off layers of your nails.
soaking in acetone is supposed to work but it takes a really long time... i'd just go back to the salon, they can take them off for you.. or you can always get a fill-in to keep them looking fresh.
Better yet. Why did you even put them on????
You get hot water and let your hands stay in there then take them out then the glue should have melted and then you could take them off or bite off.
