Can you give me some information about artificial nails? Please and Thank you!!?

What about the glue that is used? What are the ingredients in both nails and glue? Can you give me some information about artificial nails? Please and Thank you!!?
it depends on what kind of nails you are getting..

acrylics you use regular nail glue just like you can buy at a beauty supply, and they use powder acrylic and some kind of nail solution.. and i guess the nails consist of some synthetic durable plastic consistency and the acrylic just strenthens the nail for protection and support and the nail glue just holds it together

gel nails I think it's like more expensive but the gel is supposed to be more forgiving then acrylic...

silk wraps I think are the most expensive but they use some kind of wrap to cover the nail with... but the nails are the same it's just the certain tools they use to get a different type of result from the nails. Can you give me some information about artificial nails? Please and Thank you!!?
you're welcome.

Sorry, but I really don't recommend artificial nails. They contain a lot of hazardous and volitile chemicals. Most are acrylic which contains monomer and polymer. See how the nail techs use masks? That's because the dust is irritating also.

Sorry if that's not helpful but I recommend natural nails, and keep them painted to stay strong. If chemicals bother you, stay away from OPI Essie and China Glaze; instead use Revlon and Zoya.
Okay more than likely noone is going to know the ingredients right off the top of thier head. The artificial acually stands for acrilic or gell nails. I have only ever gotten acrilic nails. Acrilic is in acrilic nails just so you know. Ha. The glue is fine. Normally it takes 2 weeks for your nails to start to ';Lift';(Getting ready to come off). That is if your not overly rough on your nails/ get them done by a shitty place. If you want them off sooner than that then you just soak them in fingernail polish remover and then they will pull right off. Ask them about the ingridents in the glue. Dont be afraid! only a million other females, like myself, get them done on a regular basis.
The glue is like a super glue and adheres to your nail. Sometimes you can get a nail fungus if not properly sealed. The water can get under the artificial nail and your own nail. It really doesn't help your nails to grow out because your real nail has to be ruffed up to be Able to to work. You also have a lot of up keep. They are nice to look at but damage your natural nails.
