Should I get artificial nails?

My friend has them and they look so cool. They are french manicure type. I want to get them done but I don't know if they are bad?Should I get artificial nails?

you have to get them done its a girl thing but don't waste your money in little hairdresser shops that do them for 拢25 for a full set. Find the best place near you or far from you and pay about 拢60 for your first full set then about 拢25 for refills this will save you money because they are done better and last longer. Paying a bit more always makes you feel a bit more special and every girl needs that. If you go to a good place they do the best nail-varnishes as well to make them look even better.

If you're going to get them avoid acryllic and get gel. They are more expensive but they look better and won't damage your nails!
they mess up your nails wen you pick them off 7 stuff gets stuck in between them but every girl should get them at least once in their lifetime :-)

when u say artificial nails do u mean like da cosmetic procedure 2 permenent ones? if u mean acrylics or gel tips then its quite commonly used nowadays and it causes no major harm 2 ur nails health, but if done 2 often it may damage dem slightly.
they weaken your nails, dont pull them off!they will rip your nail off. know you must get them ';filled'; every week or so, depending on how fast your nails grow. other than that they are maintenance free, be prepared to strengthen your nails if you ever take the artificial ones off. real nails also look nice tho with some clear or colored polish.
I would definitely recommend getting them. I've had them for years now (not the same set of course! hehe) and I just love them to death. They are strong and barely ever break, they keep me from getting hangnails which are soo painful, they always look clean and neat, the polish stays on until you go get them done again, it isnt constantly chipping off and making your nails look gross, - and you only have to get them done once every two weeks. It is totally worth every penny to me!!! =) get em!
If you want them. I think once in every girls life they need to get acrylic nails at least once. I love them, try them out...if you don't like them never get them again.
getting fake nails once in a while isnt bad for you...but having them on for a long time may discolor them b/c ure nails need to be able to breathe...also u can bacteria under there....just dont do it all the time...and NEVER get those colored 13 ft long ugly ones you always see on the cash register ladies at the grocery store.
