How do you remove your contacts when you have long artificial nails?

I recently went to a nail salon to have my nails done. They look so cute!! French tip in a square shaped nail. My only problem is I wear contacts and it's now hard for me to remove them from my eyes w/ my long nails! I can't be sleeping in my lenses forever! Please help me Ladies :o)How do you remove your contacts when you have long artificial nails?
stop sleeping in your contacts it is soooo bad for your eyes. AS for removing them.....


with the flat area you use when putting the contact place your index fingers one in each Corner of your eye. This way the nails are straight up toward your eye brow. look straight ahead and slowly roll your finger out. This is break the suction of the lens and pull it out all in one sweep.


You might have to try a couple of times before you get it but it works.How do you remove your contacts when you have long artificial nails?
i had the same problem what i did was use one hand to hold open my eye while using the other one to tke it out by pinching it.
I know just what you can do! :) Go to your nearest optical, and see if they have an ';eye plunger'; (they may call it something else, like a ';mini suction cup'; or something lie that). It's literally just a small suction cup the size of your iris. To use it, use your fingers to open your eyes wide, the gently press it against your contact and pull it out. That's what I use to get out my rigid gas permeable contacts out, but it ought to work for hard or soft lenses as well :)
Rip them off! Then go get new nails. make sure there short next time.

Simple just dont get the nails anymore. Then for right now since you spent all of that money on the nails have a friend or family member help u out.
